PPC Response – Automated Adwords Rules

Automated Rule Updates, and what it means to you. Within the last couple of days Google has increased the number of automated rules you a can per user, from just 10 to 100. This will make the whole automated rule process more flexible and useful.
How does this affect me?
Using rules to automate manual tasks can help you free up your time. Think about the tasks you perform daily, then create your automation around these task. Many people have found this ideal way to start using automation, not only for ease of use, but for time saving. Prime Examples of where automated tasks could save you time, and possibly money are: Scheduling of Ads -Turning on/off Ads for Promotion Pausing Ads or Keywords - Having Keywords or Adverts paused based on certain metrics i.e pausing an advert because high cost per conversion basis Bids and bid Scheduling - Changing bids for keywords based on certain metrics (low cost per conversion), bid scheduling (change bids during certain times of the day) Controlling Budgets and Costs - Increasing your budget on certain campaigns that meet a critea example: you could create a rule that any campaign with over 10 conversions and a cost-per-conversion under $5 should receive an additional budget of 10%.
